Green Tree Athletic Association offers coed soccer programs for boys and girls between the ages of 2-10.

Tiny Kickers
For our youngest players(2-3), we offer the Tiny Kickers division. Tiny Kickers is an introductory level division that will introduce the the players to the soccer ball, the field, and the most basic skills used in the game. It also aims at getting the kids comfortable in a team sport setting by getting them moving and having lots of fun.

Tiny kickers meets for an hour, 1 time a week on Sunday mornings throughout the spring season season. The spring season typically runs April 1st through May 30th.

In the fall sessions are held Saturday mornings with the season running September 1 through October 31st.

U6 / U8 / U10
The in-house soccer program offered by Green Tree Athletic Association is a recreational coed league for boys and girls between the ages of 4-10.

In the spring the season runs mid March through the end of May with games starting the first weekend in April.

In the fall the season runs end of August through the end of October.

It is typically an 8 game season and games are played on Sundays each week in the spring and Saturdays each week in the fall. In addition, teams will hold 1 sometimes 2 practices in the evening during the week.

Games are scheduled in-house amongst our GT teams as well as a few games against KO United teams representing Dormont and Castle Shannon and at some age groups we schedule games against Carlynton.

Fields
Our home fields are Wilson Field (above the swimming pool), Hale Park, and Aiken Field(Behind the Elementary School).

Away games are played at Beggs Snyder(Dormont), Reihl Park (Castle Shannon), and Carnegie Park(Carlynton).

Division Breakdown
All divisions are determined by the players birth year. In accordance with US Youth Soccer, a player's birth year is used to determine the player's soccer age (U6,U8, U10, etc). A birth year is January 1 to December 31 of the year in which they were born.

In addition, a calendar year in soccer is considered fall/spring, with eligible players moving up divisions in the fall. All players end up having 2 years (4 seasons fall/spring/fall/spring) in each division. This may cause some confusion due to a players actual age at the start fo the season, but rest assured your player will be properly placed according to these guidelines.
